The Office of the Vice-President for Research, Extension, Innovation and Gender and Development (REIGn) opened opportunities for research endeavors of PSUnians as its first session of Research Tik-Talk series unfolded.
Fostering PSUnians to be engaged in conducting research, Dr. Ethel Reyes-Chua the Research Coordinator of PSU-Lingayen Campus and GAD Focal Person, served as a resource speaker of the first session of the Tik-Talk series whose sharing focused on ‘motivation to conduct research.’
The Research coordinator laid out research-based topics on the value of conducting research, practical and professional advices on stirring the motivation in writing research, and the benefits of research for both the writer and the community.
Dr. Chua reiterated some tips on how to get motivated in life and in conducting research which include self-discipline, doing the right thing, knowing your purpose, considering possibilities, and surrounding yourself with motivated people too.
Participants received an e-certificate of participation after the completion of survey question at the end of the webinar.
Dr. Razeale Resultay, the Vice-President for Research, Extension, Innovation and Gender and Development (REGIGn) said the Tik-Talk series was launched to encourage academic members to do research, to improve their research abilities through lectures and workshops, submit proposals for research within or outside the university, and to publish findings in national or international forums.
