PSU President Dr. Dexter R. Buted, together with Dr. Liza Quimson, CED of Bayambang Campus, Dr. Razeale Resultay, Director for Curriculum and Instruction and Prof. Celeste Mercado, LiSQuP Program Head attended a face-to-face assembly at B Hotel, Quezon City together with other members of the National Network of Normal Schools with Philippine Normal University as the lead convenor.

The assembly aims to strengthen current efforts on developing a teacher education framework that is more resilient, responsive and future oriented; builds stronger professional rapport and relationship between current and new university officials of 3NS; discuss the university directions, initiatives and policies currently being developed for the educational transition to the new normal; and strengthen the continuing partnership among 3NS member institutions through the development of a teacher education framework and the co-delivery of the Linking Standards and Quality Practice (LiSQuP) Program.

Key officials who took part in the assembly are the University Presidents of the 3NS institutions for the Memorandum of Agreement Ceremonial Signing, CHED Commissioner Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag, Atty. Nepomuceno A. Malaluan, Undersecretary and Chief of Staff of DepEd who gave their inputs for the Round Table Discussions, DepEd Secretary Leonor Magtolis-Briones for her virtual Inspirational Message, and Dr. Gina Gonong, the Director of Philippine National Research Center for Teacher Quality for some policies shaping teacher education.

It was a nostalgic assembly as the Network is also celebrating its 10th year of existence and making a difference in education sector.
