The Pangasinan State University, through the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), joined the nation in the celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes”.

PSU teaching and non-teaching personnel from various departments gathered at the Dr. Telesforo N. Boquiren Convention Hall for an electrifying Zumba exercise and a Thanksgiving Mass followed by a Commemoration Program . The Holy Mass was presided over by Msgr. Martin Peralta.

Welcoming the employees, HRMDO Director Dr. Lorena Echalar encouraged every PSU employee to clap for themselves because they deserve it for jobs well done.

‘We will stand resilient, courageous and faithful in the performance of our duties and responsibilities. By being so , we will be able to hurdle the challenges that will come our way,” Dr. Echalar said.

University President Dr. Dexter R. Buted, who initiated a Calachuchi flower plantation throughout the campuses, said the Calachuchi symbolizes RESILIENCE which is one of the legacies he would want to leave behind for PSUnian employees, for them to be able to stay afloat, whatever storms life may throw at them.
