Prompting adherence and assurance to the maintenance of quality mechanisms, the Pangasinan State University, through the Quality Assurance Unit, administered its regular Internal Quality Audit to all offices within the academic institution on February 8, 2023.

Vice-President for Quality Assurance Dr. Marcelo C. Gutierrez Jr., said auditors see to the efficiency and effectiveness of every office to ensure the productivity and optimum performance of the university as a whole.

“We are giving much importance to this internal quality, as this “self-check mechanism” will gauge our readiness for the re-certification audit by an external body,” Dr. Gutierrez stated in the plenary program held at the audio-visual room.

Prof. William V. Cayetano, Director for Institutional Assessment and Accreditation, outlined the agenda for the event that included the visit per office.

Advocating continuous improvement which adheres to international standards and quality management principles remains as one of the top priorities of PSU to better serve its clientele.
