Select students from the nine (9) campuses of PSU received free tablets from the PSU

Administration under the leadership of Dr. Dexter Buted, University President as well as Hon. JeAnn De Vera, PSU Student Regent, provided the free sim for the tablet.

The initiative of providing free tablets to the needy students of PSU is in response to the university’s adaptation of flexible learning mode due to the pandemic.

The recipients were chosen based from the required documents they have submitted as part of their application procedure. The Coordinator for Students Services and Alumni Affairs, made a short list of applicants and endorsed by the Campus Executive Director to the Student Regent with the Director for Student Services, Prof. Evelyn Lomboy, for consolidation and later on endorsed to the VPAA for recommendation to the University President for approval. All 250 tablets allotted for selected students of the Pangasinan State University are successfully distributed among the nine campuses. Headed by the Student Regent Ms. Je-Ann Z. de Vera, SSAA Director Prof. Evelyn Lomboy, and the Student Services Coordinators of the different campuses, the tablets can now be used by financially inclined students to catch up with the University’s new normal mode of learning.
