PSUnians joined and won different competitions at the 2020 ASEAN Month Celebration organized by CHED Regional Office I. Contestants submitted their entries online revolving in the theme “Cohesive and Responsive Higher Education Institutions in the time of global pandemic, and in the 21st century.”

With the unwavering support of Dr. Dexter R. Buted, University President and Dr. Liza L. Quimson, Campus Executive Director of Bayambang Campus, PSU became victorious and emerged as Grand Slam Winner during the said competition. PSUnians participated in eight (8) out of ten (10) categories of which five (5) declared as champions and three (3) awarded as second placers.

The number of “care reactions” to the entries was part of the criteria. The winners were announced last September 4 receiving certificates and cash prizes.

Through the “care”, “heart” and likes, PSU proved once again that Bayanihan is still alive. Its more than the winning, but the opportunity to be together, singing as one, painting straight from the heart and expressing ourselves freely had helped us HEAL inside. Together we Heal as one PSU family, and as one Filipino community. (PSU Echoes, Vol XX No.2).
