Known for their exemplary performances, the Matalunggaring Dance Troupe (MDT) of the Pangasinan State University was invited to participate in the Feast Day celebration of Our Lady of Lourdes in Barangay Salasa of Bugallon town.

The esteemed dance troupe staged a dance and musical performance at the Parish tennis court as part of the ‘Dinner for a Cause’ event, one of the highlights of a week-long celebration of the parish.

This religious sector also known as the Diocesan Center for Marian Devotions and led by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Bayani Liguid, lauded PSU for producing talented individuals by developing skills at its finest in cultural and arts performances.

The group was accompanied by Dr. Ramil Dacal, the Director for PSU’s Culture and Arts Affairs Office and Mr. Jordan Neri, the coordinator for Culture and Arts Affairs of Bayambang Campus.

The Matalunggaring Dance Troupe is a University pride known for its unmatched quality performances bagging gold awards in regional and national competitions.

PSU, led by University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, is honed by its core values in terms of excellence in service delivery. Thus it contributes immensely to community involvement, spirituality, sustainability and productivity.
