Recognized as Center of Excellence for its Teacher Education program in the Region, the Pangasinan State University is now accredited as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The PRC, through its CPD Council for Professional Teachers, awarded the Certificate of Accreditation to PSU on March 15 at the PRC Regional Office in Rosales, Pangasinan.
The CPD is the process of imparting advanced information, skills, and ethical principles to students in a post-licensure specialty or in a cross or multi-disciplinary field of study for use in professional practice, independent study, and/or lifetime learning.
The award was received by Dr. Ethel Reyes-Chua the Research Coordinator of PSU-Lingayen Campus and the Gender and Development Focal Person who represented University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas.
Dr. Chua also acknowledged the OIC Vice-President for REIGn Division Dr. Razeale Resultay, who will also serve as the CPD Manager.
The University will officially unveil this new achievement on March 31 in order to provide more information about the programs and procedures for the availment of the service.
