MAPITA Dokyu: Promoting Inclusive Education for IP
The Pangasinan State University, anchored from its guiding philosophy “Education for all” welcomes and provides quality education to students with disabilities and those from indigenous groups by responding to their special needs.
It is for this reason that the Public Relations, Publication and Information Office (PRPIO) features the Indigenous People particularly the Igorot in the Sitio of Mapita, Aguilar Pangasinan in its very first PSU Dokyu series. “Mapita” is an inspiring documentary that captures the life of our “kababayans” and how they overcome their daily life struggles.
Through this documentary, may all students regardless of race, gender, religion or disability be provided with real learning opportunities and not be excluded.
