iMAC Laboratory ROOM

The Apple iMac Computers are the latest addition to the ICT resources primarily for the students under the BS Information Technology and BS Computer Science programs. Students can enjoy the processing power of this up-to-date machine essentially for machine learning simulations.

NETWORK LABORATORY ROOM

The newly installed network communication system & comprehensive cabling system is an excellent additional for subjects under the College of Computing Sciences and College of Technology that focuses on Network Technologies. Students can have an actual experience on setting up the cabling and networking of a building using this facility.

BIOLOGY & CHEMISTRY LABORATORIES

Our Biology Laboratory is equipped with compound light microscopes and equipment designed to grow, identify and enumerate microbes, plant tissues, structures and study different microscopic organisms. The BS Biology students used these instruments in their laboratory activities, particularly in their fundamental courses such as; Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Plant Pathology, Developmental Biology, Zoology, and Botany. Aside from, microscopic apparatus, the laboratory also has Genetic Kit, electrophoresis and many others that helps students understand the principles in Biology.

Chemistry teaching laboratories are equipped with instruments such as spectrophotometers and other chemistry analyzers with functioning laboratory glassware. This equipment is used particularly for biology tool courses such as Organic Molecules, Biochemistry, and Analytical Methods for Biology that will help students understand the relationship with Chemistry and Biology.

NUTRITION CLINIC

The  Nutrition Clinic of BSND Program serves as a laboratory where students can practice nutrition   counseling, nutritional assessment, individualized nutrition care plan and other nutrition related services. All activities and services are supervised by a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian.

FOOD LABORATORY

BS Nutrition and Dietetics’ Food Laboratory provide adequate kitchen equipment utensils and supplies for the Professional Courses like Basic Nutrition, Basic Foods, Meal Management and Food Service System. Students learn the skills to prepare food preparation techniques and Food Science knowledge through hands-on experience in a kitchen laboratory setting.

DIGITAL SPEECH LABORATORY

The Digital Speech Laboratory of the AB English Language Program is a state-of-the-art, fully operational laboratory to be used in Phonology, Foreign Language, and other speech-related classes using the AV Equipment and Digital Broadcast Teaching System Operations.

The AB English Language Program is very much enthused to deliver digitally-interactive courses and activities to the students with the Digital Speech Laboratory.

Hospitality Management BAR

The Hospitality Management Bar offers a spacious venue for the students enrolled in Bar Management to acquire knowledge and skills related to the said course. This facility has equipment and materials used for making concoctions, cocktail and mocktail mixing, wine appreciation and flair tending.

BUSINESS HOTEL AND TRAINING CENTER

The Pangasinan State University’s business hotel and training center have state-of-the-art facilities that could serve as an avenue for the students to have a real-life and in-service industry experiences. The business hotel has amenities such as front office, business center, restaurant, bar, function rooms, administrative office, and guest rooms.

Said hotel and training center can be used by the students during their laboratory activities in Fundamentals in Lodging Operations (which includes Front Office and Housekeeping Procedures), Fundamentals in Food Service Operations, Bar and Beverage Management, Rooms Division and Cost Control, Kitchen Essentials and Basic Food Production, Applied Business Tools and Technology, and Catering Management. It can also accommodate the students enrolled in Internship in Hospitality and Food Service Industry.

HRMTC HOTEL

HRMTC Hotel is located at the heart of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management building. This newly renovated hotel is used for demonstration and simulation in the courses Fundamentals in Lodging Operations, Fundamentals in Food Service Operations, Bar and Beverage Management, Rooms Division and Cost Control, and Catering Management.

The Travel and Tours Office, a simulation area for Applied Business Tools and Technology, and Tourism and Hospitality Marketing, can also be located in this hotel.

It has eight functional guest rooms that can be used by the guests of the university and other requesting government agencies. It also serves as an income generating project of the university.

FUNCTION ROOM

The function room is situated at the 2nd floor of the HRMTC Hotel. This facility is used for students’ function activities in Catering Management and as table setting area for the course Fundamentals in Food Service Operations.

This is also used for meetings, orientation programs, and other activities of the different offices in the university.

HOT KITCHEN

This facility used by the Hospitality Management students to perform different activities during the laboratory in the course Kitchen Essentials and Basic Food Production. The hot kitchen has a spacious area that provides students the equipment for different cooking methods such as preparation table, washing and dishwashing area, gas range, chiller and refrigerator, oven, salamander and grill.

COLD KITCHEN

The cold kitchen, attached to the commercial kitchen, is used during the laboratory activities in the course Bread and Pastry Production. Said activities include baking bread and other pastry products, cake decorating, and icing and fondant creation, and preparation of desserts.

COMMERCIAL KITCHEN

Commercial Kitchen is the laboratory for the course Gastronomy. This state-of-the-art kitchen was used in different events such as during the ‘Glimpse of Indonesia’ where the Education and Culture Attaché Office representative taught the students cook Indonesian foods.

It is also used by the Catering Department in the preparation of foods during events conducted by the university and other external agencies.

GARMENTS FASHION AND DESIGN LABORATORY

Bachelor in Industrial Technology major in Garments Fashion and Design are equipped with various state of the art facilities such as high speed and newly acquired machines to ensure the development of knowledge, skills and attitude of students in preparation in real life situation. Students perform Abaray production guided by competent faculty members.

MECHANICAL LABORATORY

Bachelor in Industrial Technology major in Mechanical Technology are equipped with machines for machining which are widely used by  industries to ensure the development of knowledge, skills and attitude of students in preparation in real life situation.  Students perform machining practices guided by competent faculty members.

DRAFTING COMPUTER LABORATORY

Bachelor in Industrial Technology major in Drafting Technology are equipped with various state of the art facilities such as AutoCAD, Sketch-Up design concepts and alike to ensure the development of knowledge, skills and attitude of students in preparation in real life situation.  Students perform AutoCAD and Sketch-Up concepts guided by competent faculty members.

ELECTRICAL LABORATORY

Bachelor in Industrial Technology major in Electrical Technology are equipped with various state of the art facilities such as programmable logic control, motor control design concepts and alike to ensure the development of knowledge, skills and attitude of students in preparation in real life situation.  Students perform programmable logic control, motor control design  concepts guided by competent faculty members.

CIVIL TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY

Bachelor in Industrial Technology major in Civil Technology are equipped with techniques in civil works which are widely used by  industries to ensure the development of knowledge, skills and attitude of students in preparation in real life situation.  Students perform wood working practices guided by competent faculty members.

ELECTRONICS LABORATORY

Bachelor in Industrial Technology major in Electronics Technology are equipped with  various state of the art facilities such as robotics concepts and alike to ensure the development of knowledge, skills and attitude of students in preparation in real life situation.  Students perform robotics concepts guided by competent faculty members.

BUSINESS INCUBATION ROOM

The business incubation room is devoted to business administration students for their business start-up conventions. It serves as a research and consultation area for students in the development of their business proposals.

PSU partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry for the graphic representations and models in the field of Philippine commerce as references.

NURSING LABORATORY

The nursing laboratory is furnished with grade A medical equipment in simulation with the actual hospitals. It serves as a training ground for nursing students for them to have a clear vision and precision of the medical world before being employed for their field practicum. Facilities are certified for completeness and high quality for instruction.

CLASSROOMS

Classrooms are vital facilities in any learning institution. At PSU, classrooms are designed to be conducive to students learning. These are mounted with an LED TV that helps the professors effectively deliver the content of the lessons using animated slides and videos. All classrooms are with air purifiers that ensure the surrounding is safe, especially during the pandemic.
