After 2 phases of training on various modes of instruction, PSU proceeded to the third phase of its ongoing program with the Department of Education, Department of Science and Technology and Philippine Normal University for newly-hired teachers under RA10612.

This phase focuses on the Whole Child Approach and 21st Century Skills in the SHS Curriculum commenced on February 5 to via Zoom with Dr. Johnson P. Sunga, Educational Supervisor of the Curriculum and Learning Management Division at the Department of Education-Region1 as the keynote speaker. 

On the first day, Dr. Razeale Fernandez (Director for Curriculum and Instruction) and Dr. Amado

Ramos (Chair of the Professional Education Department) discussed the overview of the Whole Child Approach and the 7E Lesson Model. 

Day 2 is a breakout session of the students with the guidance of Prof. Celeste Mercado (Training Director) and Dr. Emmanuel Ross Tomas (Faculty member of FES Department) for Science category. On the other hand, Prof. Agnes Valdez (Faculty member of the Prof. Ed. Department) and Dr. Armando Junio (CED of Sta. Maria Campus) took the lead for the Math Category.

The last day covered a workshop and closing program facilitated by Dr. Liza Quimson (CED of Bayambang Campus) and Dr. Phillip Queroda (Director for ETEEAP)

Further, successful webinar was presided by moderators Dr. Luzviminda Ramos and Dr. Perla Delos Santos , thus, participated by fifty four teachers and former DOST scholars from Pangasinan and Cordillera Administrative Region.
